About the Blog

Storytelling is

my passion.

From writing fiction in the back of classrooms in grade school to studying Film & Television Production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to launching a career creating content in Los Angeles, one thing has stayed consistent throughout my life: a love for stories.

Good storytelling exists when form and content are in harmony with one another. In the essays collected on this blog, I aim to write about content (the story) and form (the telling) in movies that I admire.

These essays are not critical reviews, per se; I’m never going to tell you whether you should watch something or not. Rather, I’m here to write about the aesthetics, structure, and content of what I consider to be compelling storytelling in movies that I like.

I’m here to celebrate good storytelling.

I hope that reading this blog helps you discover a hidden gem, rediscover an old favorite, or put words to why a movie or other story had an impact on you.

Stories connect and inspire us. I hope that the love for storytelling here inspires you to connect with stories that you haven’t yet discovered.

And when you’re done reading, feel free to reach out. I’m always looking for new movie recommendations.

I’d love to hear from you.
